IT procurement

An experienced extension of your IT purchasing team.

You choose the products. We do the buying, with one account manager who owns each order from enquiry through delivery and after-sales.

You send
Part numbers or a specification, quantities and dates
We do
Compare supplier prices and availability, then quote
You approve
Nothing is ordered or substituted without you
Afterwards
The same account manager for delivery and after-sales

The service

Everyday buying, taken off your desk

Hand us all of your IT purchasing, or just the categories that take up the most time.

Send your part numbers or specification, quantities and required dates.

Types of requirement

Three common shapes

One-off purchases

A replacement workstation, a specific adapter, a piece of test equipment. Quick to handle, and still worth specifying properly so it works first time.

Project requirements

A refresh, an office move, a server or network change. Usually several equipment types, a fixed window and dependencies that need sequencing.

Repeat supply

The same items needed regularly. Worth agreeing how they are sourced, whether stock is held and how deliveries are released.

How it runs

A predictable sequence

Each step is handled by your account manager, who keeps you updated on where things stand.

  1. Step 1

    Confirm

Part numbers or specification, quantities and required dates.

  2. Step 2

    Compare

Supplier prices, availability and lead times checked side by side.

  3. Step 3

    Quote

A clear quotation with lead times confirmed or clearly estimated.

  4. Step 4

    Order and track

Order placed on your approval, then followed through to delivery.

  5. Step 5

    Follow up

Delivery confirmed, issues chased and the record kept for next time.

Getting started

What to send us

Anything on this list helps. You do not need all of it to start a conversation.

  • A short brief, or the part numbers if you already have them
  • Quantities, and whether they are needed together or over time
  • Required dates, including any hard deadline
  • Existing constraints: standards, estate, rack space, licensing, compatibility
  • Whether alternatives would be acceptable, or the specification is fixed

What we buy

Equipment and software we source

The same account manager can handle requirements across these categories, so mixed orders do not need several suppliers on your side.

Business computing
Desktops, laptops and workstations, including specified configurations.
Servers and storage
Servers, drives, memory and storage hardware.
Networking
Switches, routers, wireless and the cabling and modules around them.
Peripherals
Monitors, docks, keyboards, printers and everyday accessories.
Racks, AV and KVM
Rack cabinets, audiovisual equipment and KVM switching.
Software, security and warranties
Licensing, security products and manufacturer warranties.

See IT solutions for more on each category, or the brands we source.

Before you approve

Confirmed, compared, then quoted

Before quoting, we confirm the exact specification, the quantities and when you need them. That helps avoid quoting for the wrong item.

We then check prices and availability with suppliers. If the specified item is hard to get, we explain the lead time and any alternatives, and you decide.

After you approve

Followed through, then supported

Your account manager places the order and follows it with the supplier, letting you know about delivery and raising any change to dates as soon as we hear of it.

After delivery, the same person remains your contact for queries, warranty questions and the next order, so you are not explaining the background again.
