Artfully crafted
Black carbon fibre: For the dark interiors, waves of 3K carbon fibre across the insert-molded palm-rest gives amazing strength to weight ratio and superior heat-resistance. Carbon offers the advantage of being strong, stiff, light and has high temperature tolerance.
Arctic white woven glass fibre: For the white interiors, using woven crystalline silica fibre achieves the ultimate in high-strength and low-weight in this ultra-thin XPS. Glass is one of the strongest textile fibres, ensuring the laptop is thin, light and strong. The stain-resistant and UV-coated material cleans like glass and is proven to be fade and stain resistant.
Corning® Gorilla® Glass
Corning® Gorilla® Glass is tough, damage resistant, durable and elegant.
While Gorilla Glass ensures the ultimate screen strength, the aluminium lid also provides extra stiffness, is less prone to bending, warping and denting, and offers a protective shell for the screen.

Dolby Vision™: Dolby Vision™ unleashes the potential of HDR to deliver ultra-vivid picture quality, delivering colours never before seen on SDR PC displays. Dolby Vision content can deliver highlights that are up to 40 times brighter, and blacks that are up to 10 times darker.
Eyesafe® display: An Eyesafe® display reduces harmful blue light and maintains vivid colour. The Eyesafe® display intelligently manages light energy at the source – selectively reducing harmful blue light and dispersing it across the light spectrum. Our unique solution combines RGB hardware and software adjustments to more effectively protect against blue light, while maintaining vivid colour integrity. Dell is the first to offer this integrated solution*.

Our smallest camera ever: Our engineering teams invested in advanced manufacturing technologies to produce an ultra-tiny camera, our smallest ever at 2.25mm, that could be integrated into the top bezel of our latest XPS laptops without compromise. This enabled us to deliver both a beautiful InfinityEdge design, and the most innovative HD laptop camera to provide a great experience while collaborating, streaming, and creating.
Advanced Thermal Design: With separated dual fans to cover more area, a new internal vapor chamber and hidden exhaust venting—a greater performance is enabled in the thinnest form factor possible. Additionally, your system is equipped with GORE™ Thermal Insulation, which provides thermal conductivity levels lower than air in a thin, flexible format to help keep components cool.
